FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We advertise and have successfully sold horses in nearly every state. Due to the structure of horse listing platforms, horses must be listed in the state where they are located, which is why you may see our listings associated with specific states such as Montana.
Without our advertising, many customers would not be aware of our horses. We clearly state our actual location on our website and in most of our listings for full transparency.
You also do not need to worry about shipping. We arrange safe and reliable horse transport at affordable rates. We look forward to helping match your family with the perfect horse. We proudly work with families across the country.

once you have selected a horse or pony, we will email you a Sales Agreement for review, signature, and return. For payment, we prefer bank wire transfers, as most of our customers use this method. It is just as secure as a check and significantly faster, allowing us to schedule shipping without delays associated with clearing out-of-state checks. Once payment has been received, we will promptly email you a sales receipt.

Safety is one of our highest priorities at Culturestead Ranch. Our goal is to help riders and horse owners minimize risks in what is naturally considered a potentially dangerous activity. While our horses are carefully trained, well-mannered, desensitized to many everyday situations, and selected for calm dispositions, they are still large animals with natural instincts and minds of their own.
Owning and riding horses comes with responsibility and requires proper knowledge and awareness. Simple mistakes, such as leading a horse incorrectly, riding beyond your skill level, or standing too close behind a horse, can result in injury. Even the most dependable horse can react unexpectedly in certain situations.
Although we work hard to provide safe, reliable horses, no horse can ever be guaranteed completely risk-free. Horses may occasionally buck, bite, kick, or react suddenly due to fear, surprise, or their natural instinct for self-preservation. By choosing to own or ride horses, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
We strongly encourage every rider and owner to continue learning, practice safe handling techniques, and take an active role in becoming a responsible and educated horse owner. Together, proper training, awareness, and respect for the animal help create the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.
